Lots of Good News Today

This is Helen writing to say that there is lots of good news from the rehab unit today. George (Irvin) and his roommate agree that he has had a very good day. They had good conversations during the day. Also, he was not nearly as tired from the therapy as he was yesterday. He is cheerful and talking a great deal more than previously, and much more able to express complete thoughts than he was before today. And here is the really good news -- he is tentatively scheduled to come home September 19.

We are so happy for the Bush family. We will be heading for San Francisco soon and will be out of church for a while. We will be back in church (God willing) on Oct. 13th and hope George will be doing great by then. All of you are still in our prayers and we send our love, Don & June
